THE POSITION

For our MANGO team in Cologne office, we are looking for a HR Specialist in fulltime.

A responsible and highly compliant professional, whose mission is to implement our internal and external talent detection and development activities.

As a MANGO ambassador and member of the People Department she/he is an expert to recruit the right colleagues that match the required professional profile on a timely manner, while working closely with the Retail Team.

Recruitment

  • Understands the needs and role specifications from the Retail Team
  • Attracting applicants by placing job advertisements
    • Website, social media, jobsites, talent database, headhunting etc.
  • Ensure internal promotion and career succession plan
    • both local market and international markets
  • Screen, shortlist and match applications to identify the most suitable
  • Interview (phone, Skype and face to face) potential candidates
  • Arranging management interviews by coordinating schedules
  • Evaluating applicants by discussing job requirements and applicant qualifications with managers
  • Undertakes reference checks when necessary
  • Prepare and send job offers and receive documentation for the contract
  • Communicate and give feedback to the candidates and managers alike
  • Maintain and update all relevant candidate´s information in a database
  • Propose creative recruitment solutions for difficult to fill vacancies
  • Develop own talent database of strong retail professionals to facilitate succession planning, reduce vacancies and minimise agency fees
  • Implementation of recruitment strategy, advertising and sourcing methods
  • Confidently running selection processes such as assessment days, open days
  • Control of recruitment indicators: time to hire, number of vacancies filled
  • Ensure all vacancies are filled with the suitable candidates within the targeted time while considering long-term talent development
  • Explores the market best practices in recruitment and implements them
  • Ensure all recruitment policies and procedures are in line with the company guidelines and values

 

Employer branding

  • Participate in talent detection and development in her/his market while actively promoting employee engagement internally and externally
  • Has a strong professional network online and offline to whom she/he promotes the MANGO opportunities and our company culture of growth
  • Uses branded recruitment adverts in line with company branding guidelines

 

 

Employee Relations & Internal Communication

  • Ensure the best communication with the Retail Management team, and takes part in visits to stores in order to understand skill gaps in our teams
  • Supports the employee’s smooth induction process
  • Analyses the exit interviews to identify reason for employee termination, areas of improvement and strengths of MANGO in her/his markets
  • Be available for employees with HR matters, and encourages smooth communication between stores and HQ
  • Maintain close communication with Headquarters
  • Prepare monthly and weekly reports
